Underground motors
The underground gate operator is our most popular machine with the discerning customer, who not only wants a reliable gate operator, but also does not want to see any type of armature attachment on the inside of the gates. The operator is concealed below ground level within a zinc plated heavy duty box.

Electro- Mechanical or Hydraulic motors
Electro-mechanical systems contain irreversible geared motors that firmly lock the gates shut without the need of an electric locking system.
Electro-hydraulic motors have quicker operation speeds, are fully serviceable but have non locking facilities. However it is our personal recommendation that all gates that are over 12ft in length should have additional locking systems. All close boarded gates and wooden gates must have additional locking devices as prevailing winds will place large strains on either type of motor.
Above ground motors
Above ground operators provide a cost effective means to automate either existing gates or new installations. Motors can be both mounted between gate posts or brick piers, consequently only minimal ground works are required. As with the underground systems both electro-mechanical and hydraulic are available. Traditionally electro-mechanical are used for the lighter end of the market with electro-hydraulic being utilised for heavy duty residential, commercial and industrial applications.
Sliding gates and motors
Sliding gates are both the most secure means of protecting your property and an ideal solution to maximise your entrance. Our sliding gates are specially designed to move freely on a ground level track but at the same time are stringently controlled by a irreversible motor that drives a toothed track backwards and forwards. You can rest assured that by installing a sliding gate system you are afforded maximum protection. |
